A good motor only gets you halfway there. The wing you fly matters just as much — maybe more. That’s why we’re selective about what we carry. We partnered with AirDesign because they build wings the right way: real engineering, real testing, honest certifications, and designs that hold up in the real world, not just in a catalog.

We carry two AirDesign wings: the Eazy 4 for solo pilots, and the Ride 4 for tandem. Whether you’re on your first flight or your ten-thousandth, we’ll make sure you’re on the right wing for your size, weight, and goals. That’s not a tagline — it’s how we’ve trained nearly a thousand students without cutting corners.

“I cannot stress this enough: the wing and the motor have to be fitted for your size and weight. This is not the place to shop for a bargain or take a guess. I’ve seen pilots show up with wings that were flat-out wrong for them — and it is dangerous. Period.

AirDesign earned my respect because they actually test their wings at the certified weight ranges — all the way down to the smallest sizes. That matters. A lot of manufacturers just certify the numbers and move on. AirDesign makes sure the glider actually performs and stays safe at those loads.

The Eazy 4 is one of the best beginner-to-intermediate wings I’ve seen come through in years. And the Ride 4 is a professional tandem tool that I’m genuinely impressed by — it took two years and 20 prototypes to get right, and it shows. These are not impulse buys. Call me, tell me your situation, and we’ll figure out which wing is right for you.”

Why AirDesign?

AirDesign is a Swiss manufacturer with a clear design philosophy and no interest in cutting corners. Every wing they release goes through extensive real-world testing — not just certification runs, but genuine use in demanding conditions. They certify their wings down to the smallest pilot weights and actually make sure those sizes perform. That kind of integrity is rare in this industry, and it’s exactly why we carry their wings.

Fit Is Everything

This is the part most dealers skip. The wing has to be matched to your weight — not roughly, not approximately. Exactly. An undersized or oversized wing doesn’t just fly poorly; it can be genuinely dangerous in the wrong conditions.

Both the Eazy 4 and Ride 4 come in multiple sizes for a reason. We will help you find the right size for your all-up weight before you order anything. That’s not upselling — that’s doing our job right. We’ve trained nearly a thousand students nationwide, and proper equipment fit is one of the things we take most seriously.
